AustraliaGreat product with a couple of glitches
This is the solution we have been looking for for quite some time! Our Rinnai split system has its own app that no longer connects and the Emerald AC Link has been a fantastic solution thus far. We have encountered 3 minor glitches. When you turn the unit on with the remote, it cannot be turned off by the app immediately. You need to press off 3 times for it to register, 'turn on' the unit to its default settings (which seems to be 25 degrees on auto) and then off again for it to finally turn off. Similarly, turning on the unit via its remote will show 279 degrees on the app. Once you set the temperature on the app, it will display the correct temperature. Finally, the last glitch is the inability to change the swing of the fan. It will beep but no changes will occur. Other than these minor issues, it works great! If it could work with Google Home then it would be an absolute winner!

I've never liked the AC remotes. I often lose them, and the batteries need changing. Controlling my AC system from my phone is nice and easy

This product has been amazing! Such good value for money. Absolutely love the Geofence feature and being able to turn on my air con just before I get home is so convenient, and it saves me money on my power bill too! Overall would definitely recommend the AirLink to anyone.
